In modern societies, we all use glass for various purposes. Window glass is perhaps its most common usage; however it is not all alike, as many diverse types of glass are used to allow light into your home while keeping the rain and frost outside. And it might even stop a bullet!
Bulletproof Glass
According to the national standard, bulletproof glass has three categories, which are L, M and H. Category L: after impact, splashing particles, but should not penetrate testing card. Category M: after impact, there could be splashing particles, but no splashing particles should embed into testing card. Category H: after impact, no splashing particles.

Laminated glass
Laminated glass is made of two or more pieces of glasses with single or multi-PVB layers with strong cohesion and sandwiched under high temperature and pressure. The appearance and installation method of laminated glass are the same as normal glass, but much more durable.

Insulating glass
Insulating glass is composed of two or more sheets of float glasses. Between the two sheets of glass is an aluminum spacer filled with desiccant. The aluminum spacer and sheets of glass are adhered and sealed by butyl and then polysulfide or silicon.

Silver-coated mirror glass
Silver-coated mirror glass is made through a chemical sedimentation process. A sheet of specially treated silver is coated on quality float glass, followed by a sheet of copper, and finished with two layers of paint for chemical and physical protection. This technique provides reflection as high as 92%.
